1/100 MG [Red Army] RMS-099 Rick Dias

I started on this kit back in Oct but only able to complete in Nov.

Having many problems with this build...

The mistake

1. Use the wrong type of pla-plates (it should be easier to work on white plates, but I bought clear).

2. A failed Digital cameo paint scheme, force to revise the overall color scheme.

3. Lacquer paint stripping leaves unwanted surface residues.

4. First time using "Future" floor-wax, too thick and after wash caused white watermarks causing the surface gone rough.

5. Big difference between Clear Red and Red final appearance.

6. A missing Mono-eyes after flew away during disassembly.

1/100 MG [Red Army] MS-09 DOM

This build was the most time consuming due to personal commitment in real life.
Very first kit to panel scribbling, cutting, pla-plate, drilling, add rings, and shading.
Very first to crack the chest piece too, if you can notice it.

Done couple a mistake here and there.
Have to respect the fellow modeler.
It is really not easy to modify !!! RESPECT !!!

1/100 MG [Red Army] 00 Raiser

Here's another of my latest work using [Red Army] color scheme on 00 Raiser, completed on August 2013.
The contrast of black and gun metal on the 0 Raiser and weapon didn't turned out as expected, so will try different combination on next project.
Overall, it is quite tiring but I'm happy with the result.
Color used and area masked in this project is at the bottom of this post.

1/100 MG [Red Army] Sinanju Stein

Hi Guys,

This is another completed kit in Jun 2013 - [Red Army] Sinanju Stein.
I really like the color combo and masking of the head.

First experience with water decal, broke the first 2 pcs of decal, luckily have decals leftover from Sinanju.

Anyway here's the photo of the kit, with added personalized [Red Army] logo.
Next kit to work on.. 00 Raiser. Be right back.

1/100 MG [Red Army] Astray Blue Frame Second Revise

This is my latest work completed in May 2013.

Taking longer time to finish this kit for color scheme planning and masking.

I put in valuable hours to mask some parts to create 2 tones.

On the main weapon, I masked it 3 different colors.

I tried on Tamiya colors on this kits, obviously it smell better than Gunze.

Coupled with improvement on photography and lighting know-how, and the end result is superb. 

Look at the photos below. This is my best kit to date.

1/100 MG [Red Army] Strike Freedom Gundam

[Red Amry] Strike Freedom is my 3rd project on Mar 2013.

Overall, this kit is slim and it is actually looked slimmer if painted in clear red.
The paint is thicker than previous 2 kits and look really nice and strong bond to the surface. 
At the same time, i try on the new paint Clear Blue, don't really like the effect on overall color scheme, will try to minimize using it again on future kits.

[Red Army] EX-S is my second project in Feb 2013.
It is a very huge kit to start with newbie experience.
Started to mask the parts and tiring hours spent on painting.
Anyway, the result is encouraging !

[Red Army] Epyon

This is my first build back in Jan 2013, with hints and guide from my teacher Vanz of Anazasi Customs.
His build on Sinanju using Titanium Red inspired me to do [Red Army] color scheme. 
I guess will have more Reds coming into my build.
